The Great Orthodox Holiday
* Sanctification of the waters of the Ohrid Lake, by throwing the holy cross from the Ohrid port. Over 200 young people each year try to recover the cross from the Lake, an act which, according to the Church beliefs, will bring them health and joy during the year and the one who catches it will receive an award. Our guests will have the opportunity to observe the whole spectacle from a boat. The manifestation is followed by a musical happening and fireworks, while all the bars and restaurants serve free of charge warm raki.

15.00 - 16.30 A round table with topic: Problems of the Tourism economy in the region

17.00 - 18.00 Round table - Meeting of leaders and signing of the Protocol for cooperation among Regional tourism subjects on mutual tourism product.

Closing of the Forum by presenting the minute books as the conclusion will be sent to the Government of Republic of Macedonia and the Governments of the other respective countries present. A representative of the Macedonian Government and representatives from the Ohrid faculty of tourism and experts from foreign scientific institutions will be moderators of the round table.
